Radiobiology and hygiene of electromagnetic field and non-ionizing radiation
The experimental facilities are located in the especially constructed building of Institute of Biophysics, where CEMS is sited.
Experimental facilities include:
- EMF sources and generators at 0 Hz to 40 GHz frequency range
- Especially equipped rooms for studying of EMF health effect, including shielded and anechoic chambers at frequency range up to 10 GHz
- Equipment for recording of physiological indices, including tools for recording during the experiment
- Experimental incubator (model VGP-02-56) for chicken embryos
- Modern EMF measuring instruments at 0 Hz to 40 GHz (description of measuring instruments is available at CEMS Testing Laboratory)
- Extensive literature on radiobiology, hygiene, EMF safety, measurement techniques and devices, including Russian and foreign publications since 1960 years to the present time as well as rare publications
- Database on Russian and foreign studies devoted to EMF health effects
- Complete set of Russian regulative and legislative documents for the hygiene issues of EMF and non-ionizing radiation as well as the basic international EMF recommendations and standards
